About us

After working for about 25 years with local Councils in supervisory as well as in planning positions, Thomas decided to start his own Landscape Design Company, Landscape Impressions Ltd. in 1999 in Christchurch . Landscape design has always been his great passion.

Before emigration from The Netherlands in 1981, Thomas had his own Landscaping company covering everything from Design through to the implementation of the hard as well as the soft landscaping including project management and maintenance.

Because of this long-term experience, Thomas has a leading edge finding practical solutions for often-difficult landscaping challenges.

Furthermore his plant knowledge he has built up over all these years is very extensive.

Thomas holds qualifications as Technical specialist in Landscape Design and Horticulture as well as diplomas in surveying and Recreation facilities.

We not only provide plans for new houses and properties but also plans for garden renovations, rejuvenation's or complete makeovers.

Thomas is also a Tutor in hobby classes Landscaping, and Gardening related issues, and is a Boardmember and Garden Judge of the Canterbury Horticultural Society Inc.
